Fred supports the research programs of the Department of Pharmacy at UdeM

Going through adolescence can be challenging somehow at certain times.
So can be managing a chronic disease like diabetes…
But that’s the reality for young people with type 1 diabetes.
That is why a team of ten students  from the department of pharmacy at UdeM has decided to investigate and interviewed diabetic teenagers to better understand how they experienced the fact of living with T1D at that step of their life.
As future health professionals, they were very interested in the acceptance of the medical treatment.
Through these two videos, they aim to show the importance of the gain of autonomy (in French only) and the  relationship parent-teen (in French only) for young T1Ds.
